Roque Santa Cruz undergoes knee surgery

15 April 2009 by

BBC Sport report that Roque Santa Cruz has undergone knee surgery, the loss of Santa Cruz is a massive blow to Rovers run in to avoid relegation.

Boss Sam Allardyce is lacking options up front, having played Christopher Samba up front against Liverpool, he would have been better off in defence as we got spanked 4-0.

I hope for better in the match against Stoke at the weekend, I’ll leave the match preview for that to the BlogsFC Stoke blog, who already have one online here.

Fans of the blue and whites must hope that old boy James Beattie doesn’t score against his home town side, three points would be massive for us if we can get them at the weekend.

To summarise the Rocky news, he has been out since the Everton game in March with tendonitis and now he has had arthroscopy to clean out floating fragment in the knee.

Good to hear from you kandevil.

How do you get the links to come in proper writing, eg ‘have one online here’, and not the whole address, eg ‘http:// etc ???

  • kandevil

    use   <a href=”http://www.thelink.co.uk”>the text of the link</a>

    What?

forgot to say you have to switch from visual to html editor, that way you can put that in and it will become a link.

Alternatively you can highlight the text you want to make a link, then click on the icon just above the editor box that looks like a chain. Then enter the link address and a title for the link if you like. That should work!
